Chapter Four - Telnet Access - General Settings
General Instructions and Settings for SSH:
- Log into your account
control panel and select the SSH Icon. If you recieve a prompt that
your account is not SSH enabled, please follow the instructions for
having Studio Braun Support set that up for you.
- Once SSH has been enabled,
the SSH manager will be displayed.
- To use the RSA Authentification
follow the instructions for your SSH client to generate an RSA key and
copy and paste this key into the appropriate text box on the SSH manager
in your account control panel.
- On the following screen,
input your access addresses. These will be the domain(s) of your ISP,
i.e. *.earthlink.net, *.mindspring.com or your static IP address (DSL).
- SSH Connection Parameters:
- SSH Type = SSH1
- Host Name = yourdomain.com
(.net, .org)
- User ID = Your
Account User Name
- Port = 22
- Cipher Type = 3DES
- Authentification
Type = RSA or Password
